stands about nine inches high. The
other piece shown here, a standing nude, is about twelve inches high. These pieces were done in modeling clay,
snapshots taken, then lost in the fire.
I did, however, make latex molds of both, plus another that has no picture,
a single female nude sitting on a rock.
Fortunately, both the photos (the firemen also salvaged photo albums)
and the molds survived the fire.
Because of the molds, I have recast the Two Girls On Rock in
jewelers' wax, Sierra Red by brand, and with considerable work resurfacing and
detailing the cast wax, it is virtually ready to be cast in bronze or some
other metal, using the lost wax process.
Once a single metal model is made, then set in a vulcanized rubber mold,
a signed and numbered edition in metal could be produced. The same is true of the other two pieces for
which molds still exist.
